California College of the Arts MFA in Writing Program alumni, The Bonfire Collective, presents this collection of short stories, poems, and essays entitled, Crick! Crack!: Poems and Stories by Emerging Writers. The book's title harkens to a Caribbean storytelling tradition in which teller and listener are inextricably linked, making the full telling of a story impossible without the participation of both.
